Edward and Bella Twilight Bracelet

Ever since the Twilight movie first came out, my oldest daughter has been obsessed with Edward and Bella and Jacob. She has read every one of the books and every time that something new comes out about Twilight she is wanting to go out and be the first one of her friends to have it. So since she didn't have any jewelry from Twilight, I decided that I would find her a bracelet from the Twilight series.

While looking for a Twilight bracelet, I found items that were outrageously priced. Some of the items that I found, were really nice, but I found nothing that I would not be able to recreate. So instead of spending the ridiculous price of $65-75 dollars for a bracelet that I would be able to make myself. So I ordered the items that she wanted to have on the bracelet and created my own version of Bella's bracelet.

I have created this bracelet using .925 sterling silver wolf. I added the sterling silver moon and star. I have used a gorgeous sterling silver chain that hides any jump rings that have been used. I have added some color to this bracelet by using small red swarovski crystals, these crystals represent the drops of blood between Edward and Bella. This bracelet measures about 7.5 inches in length. An extension can be added to extend the length.

My daughter just fell in love with this bracelet. For one she was able to add certain charms that she wanted and leave out the ones that she didn't want. Now for her bracelet, I added an "E" for Edward and a "B" for Bella. Also to her bracelet I have added a sterling silver motorcycle that represents Jacob. Should any one want to have a bracelet that is designed a little different from the one that is shown, please let me know what you would like. Should you have any other questions or comments please don't be shy. I'm always up for any suggestions that anyone may have.

The History of Swarovski Crystals

Today I figured that I would actually write about something that was informational instead of just writing about myself. I hope that you all find this information helpful. Please give me any feedback, suggestions, or comments that you feel are helpful.
For over 100 years, Swarovski Crystals has been a name that has stood for Top-Quality, full cut crystals, expertly faceted and polished to extract every spark of its fiery brilliance. To bring out the brilliance of a Swarovski crystal, Swarovski uses a combination of techniques of firing natural minerals and quartz sand. Then allowing to cool slowly as to avoid any stress and inclusions to the crystal.
In 1892, Daniel Swarovski and his brother found the Swarovski Company. With a long family history of crystal cutters, Daniel and his brother began to design a crystal cutting machine to help make their job easier and quicker. It wasn't until six years later in 1898 that the first crystal cutting machine was patented and put into production.
Over the next 67 years Daniel Swarovski and family have designed, perfected and patented equipment that has been the top of the line grinding and dressing tools used to process crystal stones. From 1917 to 1919 Swarovski marketed tools under the name of "Tyrolit". So it was no surprise that in 1965 when Daniel Swarovski discovered and produced the newest and most innovative technique of cutting crystals. This technique was called a prism angle cut and with this cut and technique, he was able to give crystals the greatest reflection and the most brilliant appearance ever created.
The first "Aurora Borealis" or "AB" technique was developed in 1956. This technique is done with the application of steam to permanentaly give the crystals a reflective finish, giving each crystal a brilliant luster and it own beautiful appearance. Once this technique had been perfected, in 1966 Swarovski then moved on to bring about the first crystal gemstones. These gemstone colors included , but were not limited to, diamonds, emeralds, and sapphires, etc. So why do you ask do so many jewelry designers use Sawrovski crystals in their work.....because Swarovski Crystals are the most luxurious and the best on the market with the refelction of colors and the beauty that cannot be matched by any other product on the market today.

My Newest Jewelry Piece

I have just created my newest piece of jewelry. I am so excited and I think that this one so far is the best one that I have created. I have taken Pure Sterling Silver chain and added cultured Freshwater Pearls and Cantaloupe Swarovski Crystals. The sterling silver chain measures about 17-18 inches in length and for some depending on their neck size could be a lovely choker. I have tried this piece on my 14 year old daughter and she absolutely loves it.
She keeps asking if she can wear it to school and to the movie. I almost gave the necklace to her for her birthday since she will be 14 tomorrow, but I told her that I needed to put this piece on-line to be sold and that I would make her the Twilight bracelet that she has been wanting since I just got all the materials to make her a Edward and Bella Twilight bracelet. She is so excited and she has been so obsessive about Twilight. In fact for her 14th Birthday Party we are have a Twilight Birthday and then her friends are the watching the Twilight movie after.

Still Trying To Figure Things Out

I always thought that blogging would be easy, but the truth of the matter is that things have not been going well for me. Trying to figure out all of the ins and outs on how things work. What you should write about and what you should not blog about.

I was hoping to keep things very simple and just sell my jewelry online and make a little extra cash, but I have not been able to sell any of my at this point. I have had A LOT of people looking my things and telling me that they LOVE my stuff, but I have yet to sell anything online. But that's ok, because I know that I am still new and people are still finding me. So at this time, I would like to let everyone know I am always looking for suggestions and comments on how to make things better. So, please leave any comments, suggestions, or criticism on my blog and visit my stores. Any questions, I am very happy to answer.

New to Blogging

I am new to blogging and this will be my first post of many to come. I think that with first blog, I will start with telling you a little bit about me and why I am starting this blog.

I have notice that there is a lot of information on the web about what I do, but some of the instructions and information sometimes is a little vague. I enjoy making my jewelry and being ablt to seeing the beautiful creations that come about. But sometimes the pieces are so outrageously priced that people can not afford them. So my mission for my Jewelry is to be able to make beautiful jewelry at reasonable prices. I have at this time been able to put my jewelry on such site like Made it Myself and Etsy.

The other area that I have found myself very passionate about is making sure that my family is the healthiest that they can be. An to be able to do that I have a wonderful product that has a wide variety of natural vitamins and earth friendly cleaning products that has enabled my family to be healthy and 100% chemical free.

Also, I have been able to work with my family in a family based business doing a lot of woodworking. Working with my family has been a real treat and being able to come up with so many designs and being able to put creations together has been wonderful.
